Happy Birthday Canada! It was July 1st when Canada was born. All the people will celebrate the birth of Canada. In our city Guelph we have many activities at the park. Many people will come to have fun from morning until evening. One of my favorite places to stay and relax here in Guelph is Riverside. We often visit this place and have a picnic during summer. The most attractive parts in Riverside Park are the functional floral clock, the beautiful flowers, the playground and the waterfalls in front of the clock. This clock remains a tribute to a great designer John Jock Clark who was the park administrator and a dedicated servant of the said city since 1948 until his death in 1973. If you visit this place, I’m sure you will enjoy the pleasant, green acres of the said park. You can view the largest and most beautiful mechanical floral clocks in the Province. Floral clock consists of Forty-four feet in diameter; it contains 5,000 – 7,000 flowers, 14 varieties and a beautiful calendar on which the date is changed everyday. There is also a scale model of John Galt’s house, the founder of Guelph. You will be amaze and appreciate the beauty of the John Galt Gardens and a replica of the original map of Guelph City. You can also relax and enjoy with the snack bar, picnic areas, playing fields and band shell. This beautiful park is located at Woolwich, south of Woodlawn, Guelph City, Ontario, Canada.

Good morning to everyone. How’s your day? I know all of you there are happy. It’s a beautiful day today. It’s the best time to stroll with friends after work. I plan to go shopping at the mall in the afternoon. There are lots of new stuffs for summer there. I will buy a new purse and shoes also for the coming party. I’m excited to buy. I want the 2 inches heel. I need also rubber shoes for hiking. There are many sale items also for rubber shoes. I need one for my walking adventure this spring and summer. It’s sunny day so it’s good to exercise everyday. I need it since I am not young anymore. I will spend more than one hour in walking to my work. I usually take a bus but I plan to walk this sunny day. It can help me to gain more energy and stay fit.

At last it’s spring time. Aside from summer it is one of my favorite season of the year. All my favorite flowers will bloom especially the tulip flowers and daffodils. I can see the birds coming back and they are all happy. Now, I’m so happy to see the leaves of the trees started to grow and turn to green. It’s wonderful now and every garden of my neighbors are beautiful. I can remember that during spring time my daughter will take pictures of the flowers. It is one of her hobbies to take pictures and post it in her blog. Like me, she appreciate and admire the beauty of flowers, trees and nature. They also love animals such as dog, bunny, guinea pig and cats. We have many guinea pig before but sad to say they all die during winter. They are three and all are pretty. My daughter have many pictures and she keep it as remembrance.

I am very busy this month. My schedule is very hectic. Aside from my work, many of my friends asks me to go out. It’s sunny day so we need to enjoy sometimes. Well, I did not say no for strolling and party. We have a coming party at the Italian Club this month. I forgot the date but I have already the ticket in my purse. If I’m not mistaken it will be on March 20. It’s an induction of officers of the newly organization name Visayan Ethno Cultural Organization here in Guelph City. After the induction there will be a dinner and a dance party. I heard the mayor will attend the said party. It’s exciting and I will attend of course. My daughter is my companion because she is one of the officers. She will be there and I hope all of us will enjoy.

We can not walk without our feet. It is one of the most important parts in our body. In order to make our feet healthy and away from diseases you need to clean it everyday. Cleanse feet daily with a mild cleanser. Gently and completely dry your skin, including between the toes. Moisturize the feet with the cream containing urea, paying special attention to dry areas. Since it is winter wear socks that fit properly. Avoid socks that have seems or tight elastic tops. If necessary use a mirror to inspect the bottoms of your feet and check between your toes.

Mostly teen-ager are excited if Valentines Day is fast approaching. Not only teen-ager but for the family who wants to celebrate the day of lovers. It is a romantic celebration of all lovers throughout the world. They celebrate it with perfect dinner, giving and receiving gifts with great excitement and enthusiasm. It is the traditional day on which lovers or couples express their love for each other by exchanging valentine’s cards, flowers, chocolates or any special gifts. Last month I asked my friend to drive and we travel to the most authentic Niagara Falls. I’m so happy to view the wonderful falls during fall time and of course I took picture of it. Actually we are not far from this place and it is only two to three hours by car. Niagara Falls is one of the huge tourist attractions here in Canada. It is the favorite spots of all travelers, honeymooners, explorers, artists, filmmakers, visitors and the residents. It’s divided into three big waterfalls on the Niagara River in eastern North America, on the border between the United States and Canada. The three waterfalls are the Horseshoe Falls sometimes called the Canadian Falls, the American Falls, and the smaller Bridal Veil Falls. It’s a wide and the most popular waterfall in the world.

My daughter played comedy movie entitled “MY BIG FAT LOVE”. In the story it’s not easy for Macky (Sam Milby) being fat and feel in love with a young socialite columnist named Nina (Kristine Hermosa). He has been her constant admirer and surprising her everytime with cakes and flowers. Everything is going well until she met Macky that made her shock when she sees Macky a 300 pound fat boy. Then comes Aira (Toni Gonzaga) a fitness instructor who knows how to motivate Macky of losing weight. Until they feel in love with each other. Two years had pass Macky is now the perfect guy and most sought bachelor in town. Unfortunately his heart belong to Nina but an untimely encounter with Aira reminds Macky his happy days with her. Now Macky has to choose who really is his big love, it is the woman he dream or the woman who love him unconditionally.

The most common illnesses for children nowadays are the following: cough, colds, headache and fever. I remember when I was a kid I always had this kind of illnesses during cold season. I hate it if I have runny or stuffy nose, severe cough, sneezing, headache, body aches, fever and many more. In order to avoid those illnesses, try to drink more juice and water, wear warm clothes, do not stay long outside, stay away from sick person, eat healthy foods and be healthy.
